Resume
For the past three years I have been working as both an Environmental Engineer for a consulting company, and a Freelance Photographer working with brands in the Outdoor Industry. Although seemingly unrelated, the two couple in a way that that gives me a unique perspective, and allows me to see things from a different angle. I would love to chat about how I can fit your position and contribute to your company's success!
Background
I studied Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder, but the creative world has always fascinated me. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, skiing competitively and making ski movies with my friends day in day out.
This eventually lead to an obsession with the world of photo and video. I started learning the craft through trail and error, online courses, and mentors already in the field.
I started shooting for brands in the Outdoor Industry and fell in love with the whole process from the execution and production side to the planning, management, and deliverables side.
Goals
My goal is to transition fully into the creative field, combining my corporate and creative skill set to work for a company in the Outdoor Industry, an industry I grew up in and aligns with my passion and values.
Ultimately, I plan to help generate, manage, and curate content that builds a community around the brand by empowering, inspiring, and connecting the audience with the company.
